Meet The L.A. Playboys: Greg Bozeman, Lead Guitar

Updated: Mar 2, 2024

Gregory T. Bozeman grew up in Decatur, AL and learned to play guitar when he was 12 years old. After playing in his first band in college, he became consumed as to why some bands sounded good and others did not, which lead him on a lifelong passion for all things electronic that made music or made music louder. Greg played in two original bands (Rude & Zoo) in the 80's and released three 5 song EP's as well as opened his own guitar shop. Greg then moved to Dothan in 1992, to partner in Metro Music, Inc. and started a local band "Cold September" which quickly became a local favorite playing all current rock, grunge and alternative favorites. in 1995, Greg moved to Montgomery, AL and joined "Once over Twice" and played actively for the next 25 years. That band was sponsored by Miller and Budweiser for 15 of those years. They also released one full length CD of original material and opened for the Marshal Tucker Band and Kansas. Greg then moved back to Dothan, AL in 2005 and revived "Cold September" with original vocalist for several years, till he then formed The L.A. Playboys with his best friend Scott Steele, in October of 2011. Through several line up changes in the last five years, Greg is back with Kenneth fronting the band and back to doing what he loves doing the best..."Rockin' the Fuxk Out"!!!!
